DESCRIPTION:This course allows attendees to extract the hidden mechanical i
nformation from volumes images acquired during a deformation process of a
material. This topic is of great interest as the 4D imaging community is g
rowing considerably with a huge amount of data that are generated at a fas
t rate.   The training is organised in two parts: theory (0.5 day) and c
omputer-based practical works (1.5 day) using the XDigitalVolumeCorrelatio
n extension in the Thermo Scientific™ Amira-Avizo Software 3D where two
solutions are implemented (a classic subset based approach and a more robu
st global approach). At the end of the second day\, the users are invited
to practise on their own dataset with the help of the trainers.\n\n\n\nCou
 rse fees\n\n\n\nEach 2-day course costs £400 + VAT for academics\, studen
 ts\, postdocs &amp\; government / £800 + VAT for Industry attendees.\n\n\
n\nIf you wish to sign up for any of these training courses\, please conta
