DESCRIPTION:This workshop focuses on the direct observation of material pro
perties over varying length and time scales to better understand and contr
ol matter for solving major scientific challenges. It highlights recent ad
vancements in lightsource technology\, such as attosecond time resolution
at XFELs and improved spatial resolution at 4th-generation synchrotrons. T
he event\, organized by Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource (SSRL)
and Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS) at SLAC\, aims to explore new resea
rch opportunities while addressing gaps in time-resolved experimental meth
ods\, ultimately supporting the scientific user community conducting advan
 ced studies.
