DESCRIPTION:The first online workshop on OPOSSUM – the Open Source Optics
  Simulation System and Unified Modeler – will take place on Wednesday\, 
 4 June 2025\, from 2-4 pm CEST via Zoom. The event will provide a first lo
 ok at OPOSSUM\, developed within the European THRILL project. \nWhile OPOS
 SUM is still in its early development and design phase\, this online works
 hop will provide an introduction to its core concept\, a demonstration of 
 initial capabilities\, and a discussion of potential features. More import
 antly\, we want to hear from you-our future users. Your insights and needs
  will directly shape OPOSSUM’s roadmap by guiding feature prioritization
  and development. \nThe following topics will be covered: \n\nIntroduction
  to OPOSSUM and its vision\nDemonstration of current capabilities\nDiscuss
 ion on feature development and roadmap\nCommunity-driven contributions and
  plugin system concepts\n\nWhether you are a researcher\, engineer\, or de
