 ructure (ICESS) is a series of conferences that bring together leading ex
 perts in the field of electronic structure and spectroscopy.  ICESS aims
  to foster collaboration\, present and discuss the latest advancements in 
 the field\, to provide a stimulating and convivial environment in world-cl
 ass venues\, and to provide a platform for young scientists to showcase t
 heir work.\n\n\n\nFocus: The conferences cover a wide range of topics\, in
 cluding:\n\n\n\n\nTheoretical and experimental studies of electronic struc
 ture and dynamics\n\n\n\nSpectroscopy techniques (e.g.\, photoelectron spe
 ctroscopy\, X-ray absorption/emission spectroscopy\, electron energy loss
  spectroscopy)\n\n\n\nSpectromicroscopy (e.g. PEEM\, STM\, nanoARPES)\n\n\
 n\nApplications in various fields ranging from correlation physics and 
 materials science to AMO science\, chemistry and biology\n\n\n\n\nHisto
 ry: ICESS has a long and distinguished history\, with previous conferences
  held in various locations around the world.\n\n\n\nEarly bird registratio
