DESCRIPTION:We are glad to announce the ExPaNDS closing event\, to be held 
 in Hamburg on 23rd to 24th January 2023. For those who may not join in per
 son\, there will be the chance to attend remotely.\n\nOur final event for 
 ExPaNDS aims to present the opportunity to follow a user story showcasing 
 the major results achieved during the length of the project. \n\nOur  proj
 ect contributors will gather to discuss and show case use cases\, platform
 s\, FAIR principles and options for the future with a view to sustainabili
 ty of the tools\, software and services developed to make data findable\, 
 accessible\, interoperable and reusable (FAIR) across European Photon and 
 Neutron (PaN) facilities\, working towards the implementation of a PaN Dat
 a Commons to further  contribute to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC)
 . Furthermore\, we will also have invited talks by renown scientists high-
 lighting the continued importance of #Opendataforopenscience. A hybrid opt
 ion for both the internal and public sessions will be available. \n\nWe ho
 pe to be able to collect feedback and expectations of PaN scientists on th
 eir view on the future of FAIR and open data principles. \n\nWe also look 
 forward to hearing the latest news on the [DAPHNE4NFDI](https://www.daphne
 4nfdi.de/) project from our colleagues involved in this grant.
