DESCRIPTION:This workshop is intended to introduce to crystallography enthu
 siasts the basic concepts of single crystal diffraction with emphasis on p
 roteins\, and offer a glimpse in treatment of neutron single crystal data 
 reduction tools by comparing data treatment the commercial HKL-2000 softwa
 re as well as the new OpenHKL software\, which is being developed at MLZ. 
 The lectures and practical sessions with neutron data examples from Biodif
 f instrument @ MLZ will thus provide the essential tools to test the new O
 penHKL software at a beginner’s level\, and have an interactive session 
 with the software developer for providing feedback for its further develop
 ment.
